Help guide 3 of 4

For care coordinators: managing the schedule

You do everything a Caregiver does, plus you're the one who keeps the schedule itself accurate - appointments, shifts, medications, and activities.

Start with the Caregiver guide
Checking in and out, logging medications, adding appointment notes, marking activities done, free-form log entries - all of that works exactly the same for you. This guide only covers what's additional. Read "For Caregivers" first if you haven't.

Appointments: adding and removing

On the Appts tab, you'll see an Add an appointment form that Caregivers don't have:

  1. Enter a title.
  2. Choose the type - Appointment or Milestone.
  3. Set the start and end time.
  4. Optionally assign who's giving a ride.
  5. Tap Add appointment.

Each appointment also has a Removebutton if it's been cancelled or was entered by mistake.

Shifts: building the schedule

On the Shifts tab, the Add a shift form lets you build out coverage in advance:

  1. Give it a label if you'd like - optional.
  2. Choose which caregiver it's assigned to.
  3. Set the start and end time.
  4. Tap Add shift.

Overlapping shifts are flagged with an Overlaps badge so double-bookings are easy to spot. Use Remove to take a shift off the schedule.

Medications: adding and retiring

On the Meds tab, Add medication covers three patterns:

FrequencyHow it works
DailyGive it one or more specific times - a dose is expected at each one, every day
WeeklySame as Daily, but only on the days of the week you pick
As-needed (PRN)No fixed time - optionally set a minimum number of hours between doses

Fill in the name, dosage, frequency, and any instructions, then tap Add medication. Use Deactivateon a medication that's been discontinued - it disappears from the active list but its history is kept.

Activities & exercises: adding and retiring

On the Activity tab, Add an exercise or activity just needs a name and, optionally, instructions. Deactivate works the same way as medications.

What's still admin-only

Creating or approving caregiver accounts, assigning roles, configuring alert rules, and account-level settings stay with Admins. If you need one of those, ask an Admin.
