Adding Ninny Notes to your Home Screen

Ninny Notes works like a regular website, but it can also be added to your phone's home screen so it opens like a normal app - full screen, with its own icon, no address bar or browser tabs to deal with. It's the same app either way; this just makes it faster to get to.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

  1. Open ninnynotes.com in Safari and sign in.
  2. Tap the Share icon - the square with an arrow pointing up, in the bottom toolbar (or top, on iPad).
  3. Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

A Ninny Notes icon now appears on your home screen alongside your other apps.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open ninnynotes.com in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (some phones show it as Install app).
  4. Confirm by tapping Add or Install.

You may also see a banner or icon in the address bar offering to install the app - that does the same thing.

After adding it

Open Ninny Notes from its new icon instead of finding it in the browser from now on. You'll still sign in the same way - see "Getting Started" if you need a refresher - and once you're signed in, it stays that way.
